Apartment Review for Madison Park (Formerly Grand Resort) - Anaheim, CA

total shit-hole. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. i warn anyone contemplating this place. the only thing nice is the entrance way, and what they will show you. basically their model apartments and main building. once you move in the nightmare begins. i literally called every week--sometimes several times a day to get things fixed, exterminated, and replaced. nothing ever got done. at one point, one of the receptionist defended the workmanship of their exterminators, and refused to fix the problem. the keep the place in such poor condition that bugs, fleas, rodents are everywhere. i actually had to go to the emergency room for weird bugs. after 5 extermination requests after only living their for 2 months, i threatened to call the center for disease control and the health department. only then did they offer to change my apartment. after all the energy i had to put in a change, they called me at the last moment to tell me the exact apartment was no longer available. in short---this place is the worse (and i'm from new york--i know cruddy apartments). this place is a shame, with asshole employees that are so incompetent and incapable of doing their simple duties. next issue--once you move in you will get a bogus utility that has to be made out specifically to madison park. it comes out to over 50 dollars (i lived in a studio) this is in addition to the normal utility you pay anaheim. basically this pays for the shitty lack of service. i moved out as soon as my lease ended, i told them the reason was them. this place is the money pit. don't be fooled.
