Apartment Review for Monte Verde Apartments - Anaheim, CA

Living here has been an absolutely horrible experience. In just the past 6 months we have had no less than 6 different managers who don't pass any information to one another. They are hardly in the office and do not communicate anything with their tenants. If you have any sort of problem good luck trying to get any help. There have been numerous cars broken into including my own that was stolen off the gated property and it was a too bad for you kind of attitude over this. There have been other instances where tenants have had their rent stolen from the office drop slot and the office, even with proof of it still held the tenant accountable. We have had to have exterminators to our building 3 times in 6 months because of cockoroaches that are all over the grounds, and they have a continual rat problem in the bushes. We have even had to call the city to come and clean up graffiti that has been left on the sidewalk and wall on property because the management didn't take care of it, even after reporting it. The carpets are cheap and only get a surface cleaning, but after a week the padding unerneath is where the stains come from andit come back up through the carpet. And if you can find 2 washer and dryers that consistantly work it's a good laundry day. Yes when you first come and look at it it seems quiet, calming and pretty with the stream and landscape but it's just a facade they put up to cover the true issues underneath. Ask a number of tenants, there are at least 40 who have signed, so far, a petition that is going to go to the management company in regards to the issues. I can't wait until my lease is up to get the heck out.
