Apartment Review for The Village Apartments At Heritage Place - Anaheim, CA

There is very little nice things to say about the complex. The units look great, the maintenance crew is professional and only 1 person (Tiffany) is very professional from the office staff. Rosie the manager has no organization skills, doesn't return phone calls and can't stop what she is doing to take care of a tenant. I called to report a problem with my unit and Rosie answered. A week went by so I called again and a phone service took my message. No one ever called back so I called a couple days after contacting the phone service and my work order was not on record so I had to create a new work order. When I moved in, the staff miscalculated my pro-rate. Oh, I recommended my friend and his wife and recently I recommended my sister and her husband to move in and they also miscalculated their prorate. Before I moved in, I asked if the dryer connection was gas or electric. They told me gas so I purchased a gas dryer. When I moved in, I discovered it was an electric dryer. The staff would not re-compensate me for their mistake and I had to pay the fee for returning the dryer and exchanging it for an electric dryer. Apparently the lady who told me it was gas was terminated and a few months later she was working in the office again. Now she is gone again and haven't seen her since. I parked a Jet-Ski in there gated parking and I had items stolen from it. On top of that, I had my Toyota cap that covers the bolts on the rim stolen from the gated parking. I mentioned it to Rosie and there was no warning printed on their monthly newsletter nor a compensation. On top of that, it is very noisy due to the police cars and the fire trucks that constantly pass by because the station is also close by.
