Apartment Review for Vineyards - Anaheim, CA

I just want to take the time to write an utterly overdue review for The Vineyards apartments in Anaheim, CA. The management staff at these apartments are absolutely unfit for human relations, let alone managing an entire apartment complex. My first complaint: these people LOVE to leave notices on everyone’s door about 4 PM when they have certain repairs or apartment inspections coming early the next day; the only problem with this is that they are required by law to leave 24 hours notice before entering into your apartment and they usually are trying to enter early the next morning. I have had things go missing in my apartment before when people have entered while I was not around and I simply do not feel comfortable having these people traipse through my things when I am gone. The real point there is that they make absolutely no effort to give the required 24 hours notice so that I may arrange to have a person home before hand. Another second huge issue is the gardeners. They actually PAY gardeners to come EVERY SINGLE DAY to BLOW LEAVES around with a leaf blower. NO JOKE. I am going to start taking pictures so I can post them up here for everyone to see- it is seriously a travesty what the Vineyards choose to spend our money on here. My issue with the constant dirt/leaf blowing is I have serious allergies to dust and dirt and grass, and they actually come by my window where I work on the computer and BLOW the dirt right into my window by the front door! I have asked the front office many times to have them stop doing this because of my SEVERE allergic reactions to the debris they are blowing into my window, but they have not yet complied with my request as the gardener was just here this morning doing it again! Now, what has prompted me to write this review is the last straw: Some filthy people moved out from the apartment above us and the apartment complex has needed to perform many repairs to the carpets and walls and everything else, even in our apartment because their air conditioner caused a leak in my roommates bathroom (which caused nasty Freon water to pour ALL over his head, more than once because they said it was fixed the first time). Anyway, they have been performing repairs for longer than 3 days now and this morning they sent some non-English speaking person to come sweep the dirt upstairs at 7 AM while my girlfriend is sleeping. There is no carpet up there currently, so you can imagine the noise that you can hear while they are blasting music and clomping around. I went up and nicely asked him to lower his music and he LAUGHED at me and in broken English had the nerve to say that the Vineyards had asked him to get there even earlier than 7 and he basically wasn’t going to lower any noise level. I am just sickened by this place, they have billing companies charge us for water (not the city of Anaheim, but a PRIVATE company called NWP which fabricates their OWN standard water rate and also nickel-and-dimes us for so called “service fees”). If I had known this information before I moved in, I simply would not have done it! I hope this review will deter others from making a HUGE mistake by moving to the Vineyards apartments.
